The Role:
Are you passionate about building a safer future, and looking for a role where you can make an impact? We’re hiring a driven Digital Marketing Lead who is excited about connecting with emergency managers using current trends and gripping digital marketing campaigns. You will effectively work to build FloodMapp’s brand across all digital channels and establish us a thought leader in our markets. You will manage all our social media presence and lead outbound campaigns to target key customers to support lead generation. You will:

Work closely with our product and sales teams to plan, execute, and manage a digital marketing strategy across to help expand our customer base.

Lead and manage creation, production, review and scheduling of strategic digital content such as graphics, videos, blog articles, webinars and podcasts.

Manage digital marketing calendar to deliver targeted content aligned with industry trends, business strategy and relevant events.

Manage FloodMapp’s website with relevant and recent content and campaigns to engage our target customer audience.

Manage Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) efforts to increase web traffic and drive conversion.

Lead the creative and technical production of in-house video campaigns, including shooting and editing.

Manage FloodMapp’s newsletters for key audiences.

Management and governance of social media channels ensuring content is aligned with FloodMapp brand and language guideline.

Monitor, measure and analyse content performance while recommending opportunities to improve engagement from target audiences.

Develop, monitor and analyse marketing budgets to report on return on investment to inform planning going forward.

Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, and implement them in marketing campaigns.

Who we look for
We’re looking for someone who is mission driven, with significant previous experience in digital marketing and looking to take on a leadership role and manage a small team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving startup company and build out an incredible digital marketing function Any of the following skills would be highly regarded:

Excellent understanding of social media, with a genuine passion for staying on top of trends.

Strong sense of creativity, imagination, and innovation.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other internal teams.

In-depth knowledge of various digital platforms and best practices including LInkedIn, and Google Ads.

Proven ability to analyse customer metrics, reports, and trends.

Proven project management and managerial skills.

Previous experience using a CRM (ideally HubSpot).

Proven experience with SEO and SEM strategy and keyword research.

Proven experience in website creation or content management (Wix, Wordpress)

Understanding of website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics

Analytical mind, with a passion for measuring data and data driven decision making.

Location
Ideally we are seeking candidates in the Greater Denver areas (CO, USA), or in Calgary, Canada. We will consider any candidates located within Pacific or Mountain time zones and close to a major airport.
