The world's hardest problems require the best people.
FloodMapp is creating a world first flood modelling technology, using big data, automation and machine learning to save lives and prevent damages from flooding.
This is a great opportunity to get in early and be part of a fast-moving, venture-backed tech company solving real world problems on a global scale.
About the job
FloodMapp is a rapidly growing tech company scaling across Australia & the USA to save lives and prevent damage from flooding.
Flooding is becoming more frequent and more severe each year. It is the costliest natural disaster, causing billions in damages and taking thousands of lives across the globe each year. Most of this occurs because businesses and individuals do not have access to location-specific flood forecasts.
FloodMapp offers real-time flood forecasting at continental scale; delivered as a live mapping feed to help users understand who and what is in danger and subsequently prevent lives being lost, and damage to assets. Our ground-breaking modelling technology, DASH, introduces big data, automation and machine learning to traditional flood modelling techniques to deliver a world-first live mapping solution.
