Data science is changing the way we do hydrology and hydraulic modelling.

Data science is changing the way we do hydrology and hydraulic modelling. Many of our engineers and hydrologists come from an industry where data is gathered manually, spreadsheets are used daily and localized models are built one by one. They are continually impressed by the tools and techniques our data scientists have introduced to aid in rapid, scalable data analysis and model building. We love these visuals Robert Wall put together to visualize flood events across QLD since 2005. The map shows the catchments and the number of flood events on record per subcatchment. The bar chart position shows the average number of events over all catchments with the line representing the standard deviation #datavisualization#datascience#seaborn#Python#dataviz#flooding
