We are passionate about creating great technology.

FloodMapp is composed of a highly technical multidisciplinary team with deep expertise in flood engineering, hydrology, hydraulics, geospatial analysis, data science and machine learning, big data analytics, software engineering, project management and bespoke full stack software development.

Co-founders Juliette Murphy and Ryan Prosser created FloodMapp in 2017 after experiencing broad flood communications during the catastrophic floods in Brisbane, Australia (2011) and Calgary, Canada (2013). They saw a gap in the flood modelling technology traditionally used and believed that more lives can be saved as well as economic and financial loss prevented with rapid flood modelling to produce hyper-personalised forecast information.

To build a world-first model, you need a world-class team.
